I liked the 5080, 71, and the xbr4 the most. It had the brightest picture, but the colors were absolutely horrible. This may have been the settings, but i was unimpressed. It was the brightest, sharpest, picture in the store. However this set was marked down $700.00. I looked up some of the threads and they all but don't exist. Where you have to work at it is the contrast and brightness, and turn down the sharpness level. JavaScript is disabled. i have the 42HL167...green push is almost completely eliminated with service menu settings...all large screen TVs seem to have oversaturated greens, Sony, Sammy, Philips, and Toshiba to different degrees... . it might have green push issue that cant be corrected with normal color adjusting and screen settings. You will be amazed at the picture quality of this Toshiba 47hl167 once you get it set up properly.
