I love the topics is covers, but I think it suffers from trying to cover too much in too short of a book. It can be difficult to play by the rules when you don’t know what those rules are. everything you need to sharpen your knowledge of American Street. This was great. Even if that means she has to confront harsh truths about her aunt and cousins, who have been living in America for years now. The plot feels a bit rushed to me and it would've been nice if this book was longer so it could've developed a little bit more.
